Biography

Manuan Lafond (Money-1), hailing from Chisasibi, Quebec, is a melodic artist in which he blends different styles. He graduated from Music Industry Arts to learn more about the music biz, he is also learning how the recording and production work as an engineer, others like music business and marketing. He has had interests in music in his teens. One day, he pursued Paul Napash to become his mentor and producer for his music career. There is a couple of music videos "Money-1-Follow Me feat. PaulStar" and "Money-1- JBH Blues". His music video James Bay Highway Blues was featured in several media outlets including CBC News, Algonquin College's MIA page, and secured radio stations in the Cree Nation's JBCCS. His second release "My Nintendo" was released later last year and made a music video for it. His 3rd single titled "Life of Mine" is set to release for July 3rd, 2020. This song talks about his struggles and depression, music was his escape from that. Currently, he studies TV Broadcasting program at Algonquin College. He plans to release his first EP later this year.
